NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania is announcing the members of the agency's Community Leadership Institute (CLI) team for 2024.
Organized and hosted by NeighborWorks America, the CLI program brings together teams of neighborhood leaders from NeighborWorks Network member organizations across the United States to strengthen the capacity of the participants to make positive change in their communities.
Built around the theme “Diversity to Harmony: Blending Perspectives for Common Goals,” the CLI was held in Baltimore, Maryland from October 31 – November 3. CLI team members participated in a series of various workshops, plenaries, regional breakout sessions, and learning labs/mobile tours. The West Scranton team is creating a community improvement project and will implement it over one year’s time in West Scranton.
CLI team members have been drawn from neighborhood leaders throughout the West Scranton area, and include representatives from the West Scranton Action Committee, West Scranton High School, the Scranton Area Community Foundation, the City of Scranton and Fidelity Bank.
This year's team includes Kori Grogan, Joanne Pezzuti, Brando Brandini, Mandie Martin, Vivian Williams, Pujan Nepal and Chris Hughes. Miranda Pace, NeighborWorks West Scranton Neighborhood Coordinator, is serving as staff coordinator for this year’s CLI team.
