Join us for the Spring 2026 edition of the Scranton Neighborhood Leaders Forum, brought to you by NeighborWorks and United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The forum takes place on Wednesday, March 18 and will feature presentations from community partners on topics focused on improving quality of life in Scranton neighborhoods.

Lackawanna-Susquehanna BH/ID/EI Program

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. The program will run from 5:20 to 7:00 p.m. in the Kane Forum of Edward R. Leahy Jr. Hall at the University of Scranton, 237 Jefferson Ave, Scranton, PA 18510. Dinner will be provided.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Please register via the link below.

Our free homebuyer education workshops are offered multiple times each year. By attending these workshops, prospective buyers can:

Participate in discussions led by local housing-industry professionals, including lenders, Realtors, property inspectors, insurance agents, homeownership specialists, and others you will come into contact with during your home-buying process

Learn how to avoid predatory lending

Participate in a question-and-answer session with all speakers

Have the opportunity to interact with other homebuyers

Join us for the West Scranton Spring Eggstravaganza, a celebration of the coming of spring for the whole family!

Saturday, April 11, 12-2pm at Novembrino Park (201 S 10th Ave, Scranton)

Our annual egg hunt will take place at 12 noon, followed by a bunny hop sack race, spring treats, games, activities, and, of course, music and entertainment.
