The Garbage Olympics is a volunteer event that takes place during Scranton's City Pride week in June. This annual competition invites local groups to participate in a two-hour cleaning challenge at designated locations in Pine Brook and West Scranton. Teams compete to collect the most trash, discover the strangest item, and showcase the highest level of team spirit. By registering a team, participants have the opportunity to win fantastic prizes and demonstrate their pride for Scranton.
2023 was the inaugural year for the Garbage Olympics. Please click here to check out the website and view photos. Be sure to stay tuned for next year and how you can register!
