Pamela Anslinger selected to nonprofit leadership program cohort

Pamela Anslinger, Director of HomeOwnership Services at NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania, has been selected to join this year's cohort of The University of Scranton's Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Program. The program, housed in the Kania School of Management, seeks to support and advance nonprofit organizations through a comprehensive and academically rigorous leadership program to develop future executives to serve at nonprofit institutions in northeastern Pennsylvania. Classes for the 13-month program began this month.

"Being accepted to the Non-Profit Leadership Cohort is truly an honor," said Pamela. "All of my previous educational experiences have primarily been online. This opportunity allows me to be present and with others in the same field. I'm both humbled and excited to be in this program with so many other prestigious colleges."

Since the program’s inception in 2017, 68 nonprofit professionals from more than 50 regional organizations have graduated from the program.

The program was established through a partnership between the University of Scranton faculty and local nonprofit leaders. This collaboration has fostered a network of skilled individuals working within nonprofit organizations while also creating an informal regional system of mentors and coaches to support emerging leaders in the sector.
